Summary
After becoming engrossed in the forgettable novel “River of Forgetting,” I lived a quiet life as a duke’s daughter—until my fiancé, the male lead, discarded me for the saintly heroine. Knowing my fate as a minor character was to be quietly eliminated, I confessed my plight to a passing stranger who resembled my favorite dark character, Crown Prince Saul Lucius. To my surprise, he agreed to an engagement. Now my former fiancé is suddenly obsessed with me, while I’m tangled with the crown prince. Is this too grand a role for a mere supporting character? It seems the true protagonist of this story might just be me.
