Summary
Liberte, once the beloved daughter of the late emperor, was expected to inherit the throne. Instead, her younger brother ascended under a manipulative minister’s influence, forcing her into exile. She is sent to marry the Grand Duke of Nord, a remote northern region shrouded in myth and danger. Surviving attacks on her journey, she arrives to find a land both harsh and enchanting. There, she meets Yulaha, the sincere Grand Duke who offers to delay their marriage out of respect. Though guarded, Liberte gradually lowers her walls as she recalls a long-forgotten childhood encounter with him, unraveling buried memories and emotions.
