Summary
Fristine, a noblewoman from a fallen house living in rural seclusion, is tasked by the king with caring for the exiled princess. Though the princess is a political hostage, Fristine treats her with genuine kindness and saves her from a life-threatening crisis. When the throne changes hands, the princess is freed, and Fristine is summoned to the royal court.
